Born in 1968, Feng Zhengjie used to be an art teacher in his native Sichuan province,
he now works and lives in Beijing.

Feng Zhengjie is one of China's best known painters, especially for his 'Portrait of China'
series: very large oil portraits of fashion models based on the traditional red and green
colors of Chinese New Year paintings.
